A popular Bulbophyllum species that is native to Southeast Asia, Java, Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, and Singapore growing on trees at low altitude humid forests. A vigorous grower that blooms with flowers that are cream-yellow with long sepals that cascade into fine tendrils reminiscent of Bulb medusea but smaller since it is considered a miniature. Generally blooms a few times a year.
